Look at this touching portrait of sisterly love. It warms the cockles of my heart. This is going to be my new “happy” photo. I am committing it to memory so that the next time the girls find themselves on a path to mutual destruction, I will remember that they sometimes love each other.
The good thing about Sophie and Chloe is that their fights don’t last too long. For example, a little while ago, they were attacking each other in the dining room and lunging at each other from across the table. It’s now about fifteen minutes later and they’re playing “Hullabaloo.” Sophie likes to win this game because she gets to take a bow and do a funky dance. Chloe doesn’t like playing so much because she thinks the game is stupid. She lasted about 10 minutes playing this “Twister”-like game for little kids. Sophie is now happily playing by herself. Gotta love 5-year olds.
Chloe wants me to decorate this post with emoticons. I steadfastly refuse. I detest emoticons. I am 41 years old, going on 42, and am way too old for emoticons. I use words. Crazy concept, isn’t it?
