The countdown continues. Eight hours until we leave for the airport. We can’t wait. Other than a Sophie carsick puking incident in the parking lot of a Burger King in the Poconos, my mom’s trip with the girls up to Ithaca went without a hitch. I was glad to hear that the car ride wasn’t irreversibly marred by throw up in the back seat and proud of Sophie for waiting to hit blacktop before gagging it up.

Not sure if I’ll be able to blog while I’m gone. Actually, not sure I’ll want to blog while I’m gone, since this is a vacation without the girls! But we’ll see. If I’m inspired and can get decent enough Internet access, I may just have to upload a few photos of the sights to make everyone jealous.
