Welcome back, loyal readers. In today’s episode our protagonist wakes up way too early and finds a solution to his brother’s monster-under-the-bed problem.
*****
I woke up in the morning at 5:45 am because my little brother, Tommy, had given me a wet willy. It’s this thing when you stick your finger in your mouth then stick it in someone’s ear. He was staring down at me through wide eyes. “What?!” I demanded, very annoyed. Tommy said, “I have a question.” “Oh, really!” I said sarcastically since I knew it was going to be one of his pointless questions, which it was. Because he said, “Can you check if there’s a monster under my bed?”
Well, I was sick and tired of him getting scared of monsters. So I went to his room and checked in the closet and under the bed. I told him there were no monsters in his room. Then, an idea struck me. “Tommy, I’m going to get you a monster repellent spray!” Tommy clapped happily. “OK!” he shouted enthusiastically.
So that day I ended up spending $6 on a Fabreze Fresh spray. So I went home and told Tommy it was “monster repellent.” He told me to spray it all around his room every night before bed and I did. For about a week, but then he started to complain that he didn’t like the smell. So then I really didn’t know what to do but I thought that I could just change it with water and I did just that.
