Apparently, my French husband loves Halloween. Earlier in the month, he found all of our Halloween decorations and put them in a pile for eventual hanging on the doors and in the windows. And became extremely frustrated when two of the decorations he set out disappeared. I confessed to throwing one of the them in the garbage, but I had no idea what happened to the other decoration. The goblins must have eaten it.
Once the remaining decorations made it to their rightful places of honor, all that was missing were the pumpkins. So – one week before Halloween, he took the Chloe and Sophie shopping.
And they happened upon a local real estate agency that was hosting a pumpkin picking party. After collecting about 25 orange orbs, they came home and decorated about half of them. Yes, they went on a pumpkin decorating bender. And as you can see from the photo, they had a lot of fun.
Needless to say, the front of our house is now extremely festive. Oh, and lest I forget, there’s a scarecrow, too.
