Chloe begged us to get her these earrings for Hanukkah.  She LOVES these earrings.  And when she opened the present today, she jumped for joy and squealed.  And then she asked if she could wear them to school.

I told her she could – once every two weeks.  She wants to show her friends her cool earrings.  But I can’t help but wonder, in today’s age of terrorism and bullying, if her earrings might be considered too threatening for 4th grade!

I giggle as I write this, but would I be entirely surprised if the principal or assistant principal or her teachers noticed the dagger in the pirate skull’s mouth?  No.

These skulls certainly have personality.  I think her ears are going to be scared.
