Chloe is spending night at Grammy’s because they’re going to see “The Lion King” tomorrow, which means that my husband and I have Sophie all to ourselves. As much as I love spending time with Sophie and Chloe together, I cherish the special days when we get to hang out with just one of them.
Sophie made up a game for us to play called “Hop Bunny Hop.” We had to pretend we were bunnies and play bunny tag. And the bunny who got tagged had to give the other bunny hugs, kisses and cuddles. She knew the game would be right up my alley. I love my little Sophie!
The following are some random thoughts from Sophie:
“I like giving hugs and cuddles and kisses to Mommy [note to readers: I did not bribe her to say that]. In the summer I can’t wait to go to France. Today I had a play date with my friend. I’m not sure if I’m going to have another play date tomorrow. Tomorrow I’m going to tennis. It’s good Chloe’s at Grammy’s so she doesn’t annoy me. I like to be with Mommy. Mommy’s my favorite [note to readers again: I did not bribe her to say those things either]. When I shake my bottom, people laugh. I’m funny. Me and Chloe used to want a dog. I like my pillow pet and my stuffed animals. When I had my play date, I won at bowling on the Wii. When I have wide eyes, my mom laughs at me. When my sister talks, I copy her sometimes. Bye, good night!”
