These photos really don’t really require any commentary.  The smiles speak for themselves.  When I think about the number of times I’ve seen Sophie’s and Chloe’s grins this summer, I realize how lucky we are. All of us.  To have each other, to have such a great family, to have such great friends…

I wish I could take these smiles and keep them in my pocket.  As talismen.  Like lucky rabbit’s feet.  But for now, I’ve settled for searing the images in my mind so that I can retrieve them on an as needed basis.  My memory may not be as sharp as it used to be, but when it comes to my girls, it’s photographic.
