Sophie woke up yesterday morning claiming that she had trouble falling asleep the night before. I looked at her and said, “Really?” Then I pulled out this picture and showed it to her. As it turns out, Papa snapped this photo of Sophie the night before passed out on the bed. He hadn’t yet finished reading to her.
Sophie’s stuffed animals now officially take up more space on her mattress than she does. She must have at least 20 of them on her bed. She possesses special stuffed animal radar and immediately notices when one of them has gone missing, and jealously guards them while she slumbers. She’s very concerned about their feelings and well-being.
That’s my gentle-hearted, cuddly Sophie. Protector of stuffed animals.
