Alubus died last night.  Almost two years to the day since we brought him and his brother, Gloup, home.

Alubus was a great little hamster.  He lived a long and fulfilling dwarf hamster life (two years plus) and survived his brother by almost 18 months.   Alubus was active and cuddly, and loved grapes and apples.

Chloe is already talking about their replacements.  She trying to graduate to a dog.  But that ain’t happening.  So, Alubus II and Gloup II it will be, sometime after the new year.

We love you, Alubus.  Rest in peace.
