Remember the days when Chloe used to regale readers of this blog with poetry and short stories? Those days are long gone, apparently.
I asked her tonight if she’d be willing to contribute a blog entry and she declined. Aren’t children supposed to obey their parents? When I ask Chloe to do something, she needs to do it, no?
Her refusal to submit to my request deserves some kind of punishment, I think. Her punishment is as follows: when we’re in Hilton Head, she’ll be responsible for killing all the palmetto bugs. If she doesn’t succeed at her task, we’ll put the bugs she fails to eradicate in her bed. Sounds reasonable, no?
