With two more days to go before we start our journey back north, we lucked out today with more sunshine than had been predicted by the weather gods.

We couldn’t resist the call of the ocean. As the tide came back in, we braved the waves and dug for water. It was peaceful. And I can’t believe we only have a couple of days left to enjoy this.

I’m trying not to get too far ahead of myself by thinking about the end of this vacation. I am urging my brain to stop churning so that I can make the most of the hours that are left before we’re driving on Interstate 95 heading back to reality.
