Here I was, the day before the hurricane, making fun of my husband for buying a snowblower as a consolation prize when all of the generators were sold out.
After 18 years of marriage my husband still surprises me. I never would have guessed that among his many talents is an amazing ability to predict the future.
We woke up this morning to about four inches of snow on the ground. And my dear husband was ready to conquer it. We may not have been prepared enough for the hurricane, but thanks to his foresight, we were prepared for Athena the nor’easter (I truly despise that these storms have names. They are not people or dogs or cats).
