My big girl is 12 years old today.  I’m still in shock.  Where has the time gone?

Her friends decorated her locker at school and she was thrilled by the attention.  She received lots of birthday wishes and is super excited about the $70 in Amazon gift cards her aunts and uncles sent to her.  Just in time to buy her Papa a birthday present or make a dent in the dozens of books on her wish list!  And let’s not forget the Monopoly New York City game Sophie gave to her – she’s going to drive us crazy wanting to play that for hours and hours and hours.

Happy, happy birthday my oldest daughter.  I love you so and can’t wait for the year ahead.
